Its not easy being "GREEN"
The further ignorance of Mr.Rove, is expressed in this article.

Now granted, I am not all in favor of the drastic measures that Ms. Crow and Ms. David propose. But some of the points are relevant.
I have been doing a lot of looking around lately. Mostly directed towards the land we live in. Not the world but this country. I have seen reports of Mass killings and attempted mass killings. Lots of finger pointing blaming others for problems that could have been easily well... maybe not easily, but avoided. I have seen where thousands have marched for immagration reform. People getting fired for expressing themselves in a way that is dictated in contract form.
Take the Imus thing.. what he said was bad. I readily admit that. Is it anyworse then some Music group to say the exact same thing or worse? Was it because he was white and talking about a predominately black team. What would have been done if he were black , or they mostly a white team ? Again im not saying it was right, but how far do you take it?
There are a lot of things wrong with this country. Why shouldnt we start here first. Fix ourselves, then if we can help others. We have tons of homeless and disadvantaged here in the US. Our test scores are falling, our standing as a country is falling. We are losing world respect daily.
Imgaine this... What would the country be like if we took half the troops that are fighting in the middle east. Have the army corps of engineers fix New Orleans, rebuild the levies and move on to the other coastal cites that have been damaged. Revisit our coastal cities, rebuilding or strengthing so this type of travesty could not do as much damage.
Why not concentrate on building up our industries. Create more jobs, instill a little more pride in our country. Is it that we have so many people that think some jobs are below them? That the pay is not enough to get them by? Here is my situation.. My wife and I are looking at trying to find her a job. I work mostly out of state and make a good living. Finding her a job is proving to be quite difficult. Since we have a daughter that's not school age, she can not work all shifts. She has not finished college so her options are limited there. Also if you take in account that we live in the country and have to drive at least 30 mins to get to a job, the options again are limited. To take care of daycare.. I can't believe it costs that much... and gas to and from work. you need to find a job that's over 10$ an hour. Try finding one that will work shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and give you that to start out with. Its near impossible. I've looked... So increase jobs, increase support for our familes. Work for America, not some country that doesn't even want us there to start with.
Sorry this was long, but there's a lot on my mind..
